We have taken Brenden twice now to Fuji, a Japanese Hibachi Grill restaurant here in town. The first time the three of us went and set at a normal table. Elliott and I had sushi and Brenden hibachi chicken. The waitress gave him the "cheaters chopsticks" - they are tied together so all you have to do is squeeze. He took to them like a little rock star! He didn't pick up a fork all night. He LOVED the edamame beans too! He was a little ticked he couldn't have any sushi, so next time we will order him a California roll...all veggies...no raw fish! This past weekend we went with Joel/Sara/Caleb Williams. Brenden wanted nothing to do with the grill table as the grill scared him, especially the fire. (Smart Bug knows Momma will not let him near the stove!). So, neither boy liked the grill table (even 4 month old Caleb had a moment). But after they were all done Brenden ate his food. So, we learned a lesson...no grill tables w/ the Bug for a while, but yay on him being a good eater and trying new foods!
